Roger grew up in the rural area around Cochrane Alberta and received his BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a MSc in Biomechanical Engineering at the University of Calgary. Professionally, Roger has had a long career in product design and manufacturing as both a design engineer and as a manager of engineering teams. Roger started his career in the medical device industry and spent 10 years in California developing powered surgical devices. Feeling homesick for Canada, Roger and his family moved back to Calgary where he eventually joined on with Chariot Carriers which later became a part of the Thule Group where he led the talented Calgary ‘Active with Kids’ team that launched multiple award-winning products. Looking for something new and exciting, Roger feels truly fortunate to have the opportunity to bring his experience to Bowhead and work with this diverse and talented team to grow and succeed with Bowhead’s amazing line of products.
Away from work, Roger is a life-long player and fan of our national pastime, but as well enjoys all other sports, outdoor activities and spending time with his family. More recently, Roger has gained a passion for restoration of vintage motorcycles and cars and is always on the lookout for his next project.

SALES AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Cole grew up in Williams Lake BC, and now calls Kelowna BC home. Showing an early passion for athletics and the need, as a toddler, to “get air” he became immersed in the mountain bike and motocross world at a young age and has continued to enjoy these sports, among many others ever since. While working toward his Red Seal certification, Cole was in a construction accident in 2015 which left him paralyzed from the waist down. Looking for something to get him back into the world of wheels, Cole came across the Bowhead Reach, a true game-changer and has been a part of the Bowhead team ever since his first ride in 2018. Cole is excited to be a part of the Bowhead family where he can apply his mechanical hands-on experience, customer service experience and his love for biking. You will usually see Cole along with his sidekick Titus enjoying the outdoors in the Okanagan sunshine.

Sally began working with Bowhead during her senior year university practicum where she studied Community Rehabilitation and Disability Studies with a focus on adaptive sports. Through working at summer camps as well as surf camps in South Africa, she learned about the positive impacts that sports and time spent outside has on individuals, and the importance of creating equal opportunities for everyone. Combining her passion for mountain biking and adaptive solutions, Sally has found a home with Bowhead. Her mission is to bring these values to the disability community and help individuals and non-profits access the opportunities, equipment and independence they deserve.
